Already 2 weeks since we've moved and we still remain unemployed. The local grocery store isn't even able to offer us a source of income, which we so desperately need! Every Day Deserves a Chance by Max Lucado has been the book I've delved into as of late (you should read it!). The last chapter was about Darius pleading with Jesus to save his daughter from her terminal illness. He believed that God cared enough to heal his daughter; he believed that God could save his daughter. Where Darius fell short was if he had enough faith that Jesus would come save his daughter. It's always seemed to me that when the very last flicker of hope is burned out, Jesus goes above and beyond all that we had originally asked of Him and yet again, causes our hearts to wonder, "How could I have ever doubted Him?" Jesus cares. Jesus can. Jesus comes.
So I'd ask that you please pray that we will find well-paying jobs so we're able to pay our rent on time, and also that we find at least one other Christian classmate! That would be fabulous.
:)
More later.
